Milwaukee, WI | Eugene Mayflower, 42, has been accused of Second Degree murder after confessing to authorities to murdering his wife after he had found out she was using his own toothbrush to clean the toilet.
During a dramatic 911 call, Mr. Mayflower admitted to killing his wife after he went “berserk” when he found out she had been cleaning the toilet with his own toothbrush for years.
Eugene Mayflower admitted to smashing his victim’s teeth multiple times on the porcelain toilet bowl and “shoving the toothbrush down her throat” he confessed during the 911 call.
126 puncture marks in total were made with the toothbrush on the victim’s body, puncturing her eyes, lungs, liver and throat, and causing massive internal bleeding inside her throat which led to her tragic death, established the coroner’s report.
Obsessive Compulsive Disorder
The 42-year-old man has been diagnosed with Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) and is known for his obsession with cleanliness.
“The guy is definitely strange but I never suspected he had the potential to kill anyone, let alone his own wife,” explained his landlord to the Milwaukee Tribune.
“He was somewhat of a neat freak, so I’m not surprised he got angry when he learned she was using his toothbrush to clean the toilet. He was rather paranoid about bacteria and would rarely go outside if he didn’t need to,” he told reporters.
If Eugene Mayflower is found guilty of Second Degree Homicide, he could be sentenced to a minimum of 15 years or a maximum of 60 years according to Wisconsin state law, believe legal experts.
