Indian Man Claims He’s 179 Years Old

Vârânasî| A retired cobbler from northern India, Mahashta Mûrasi, claims he was born in January 1835, making him not only the oldest man on earth, but the oldest to have ever lived, according to the Guiness World Records.

According to indian officials, the man was born at home in the city of Bangalore on January 6th 1835, and is recorded to have lived in Vârânasî since 1903. He worked as a cobbler in the city until 1957, when he retired at the already venerable age of 122.

“I have been alive so long, that my great grand-children have been dead for years” explains Mr Mûrasi. “Somehow death forgot about me… And now there’s hardly any hope left. Look at the statistics, nobody dies past 150, even less at 170. At that point, I guess I’m immortal or something. I might as well enjoy it!”

The man’s birth certificate and identity cards all seem to confirm his version, but unfortunately no medical examination can confirm his saying for now.  The last doctor Mister Mûrasi visited died in 1971, so there is little information available about his previous medical files.

  1. Check his teeth. Should solve the complete mystery. But that’s just my logic. I could be very well wrong.
179years seems to impossible to believe.

  2. If it is true,it is not wow ,it is purely suffering, physically as well as emotionally.

    • How can you know that?

    • what? suffering? wtf are u talking about? life is not suffering my friend, u are maybe suffering so u have that idea of life in general, otherwise why would u have the impression that living this long means suffering. in my opinion this man is happier than many of us, he had the time to gather lots of experiences that made him understand a thing or two about life and death… u on the other hand do not.

    • So out living all your children, grandchildren, and in his case, his great grandchildren and burying each and everyone of them is happiness for you Alex?

  3. Maybe God not ready for him yet the old man is fine let him live life to the full.

  4. The oldest man who ever lived was Methusaleh mentioned in the Bible who lived to be 969 years . He was the oldest man to ever live . The first man created by God was Adam and he live to be 930 years. Before the flood in which only Noah and his family were save mankind lived for hundreds of years! The Bible is the word of God and the facts recorded are true!

    • Dude… Just… No… “The facts recorded are true”? Dude… Come on… DUDE!!!

    • wtf wtf wtf wtf wtf wtf wqtfbbbbbaabkaka

Some foolish men declare that creator made the world. The doctrine that the world was created is ill advised and should be rejected.
If God created the world, where was he before the creation? If you say he was transcendent then and needed no support, where is he now?
How could God have made this world without any raw material? If you say that he made this first, and then the world, you are faced with an endless regression.
If you declare that this raw material arose naturally you fall into another fallacy, For the whole universe might thus have been its own creator, and have arisen quite naturally.
If God created the world by an act of his own will, without any raw material, then it is just his will and nothing else — and who will believe this silly nonsense?
If he is ever perfect and complete, how could the will to create have arisen in him? If, on the other hand, he is not perfect, he could no more create the universe than a potter could.
If he is form-less, action-less and all-embracing, how could he have created the world? Such a soul, devoid of all modality, would have no desire to create anything.
If he is perfect, he does not strive for the three aims of man, so what advantage would he gain by creating the universe?
If you say that he created to no purpose because it was his nature to do so, then God is pointless. If he created in some kind of sport, it was the sport of a foolish child, leading to trouble.
If he created because of the karma of embodied beings [acquired in a previous creation] He is not the Almighty Lord, but subordinate to something else
If out of love for living beings and need of them he made the world, why did he not make creation wholly blissful free from misfortune?
If he were transcendent he would not create, for he would be free: Nor if involved in transmigration, for then he would not be almighty. Thus the doctrine that the world was created by God makes no sense at all,
And God commits great sin in slaying the children whom he himself created. If you say that he slays only to destroy evil beings, why did he create such beings in the first place?
Good men should combat the believer in divine creation, maddened by an evil doctrine

  5. How would you feel to see all your loved one’s die in front of you ???
