Swainsboro, GA | A Georgia man was rushed into surgery after learning he had contracted a highly aggressive form of Necrotizing Fasciitis, a flesh-eating bacterial infection.
Doctors diagnosed the rare form of flesh-eating bacteria after George Rushmore, 36, told them he had been using condoms made out of leftover pig intestines from his job as a butcher.
Rushmore says he got the idea to make reusable condoms with pig intestines while watching a documentary on the Discovery Channel.
“I realized how condoms were a major source of pollution while watching a documentary where a sea gull’s stomach was opened and they found 36 condoms in it. I was totally disgusted.”
“Being a butcher, the idea just came naturally to me that I could make reusable condoms out of leftover pig intestines from the job.”
“My girlfriend was reluctant to use them at first, but after she got over the texture and the odor, it just didn’t bother her anymore,” he admits.
A life-changing experience
Earlier this week, he finally woke up and expressed his gratitude for the incredible outpouring of support that came to him via social media after he shared his story about losing over 90% of his penis to the flesh-eating bacteria.
“There is a life after losing your dick,” he told reporters laughingly, visibly unscathed by the tragic events.
“I was shattered when I first learned I could no longer have sex anymore, but one man offered to make me a prosthesis with a homemade 3d printer. Sometimes life smiles at you when you least expect it,” he added on a positive note.
While this ordeal has dramatically changed his way of life, it hasn’t broken his spirit nor his dream to start his own family and several people on social media have already offered to generously donate their own sperm to the couple said Rushmore, visibly thankful.
